Nearly a decade ago, I retired from acting and soon after discovered a new calling as a wedding officiant! My sister’s wedding was actually the first ceremony I ever officiated. It was an incredibly beautiful and emotional day for me and my family, but that day also sparked an idea in me. I never grew up dreaming of being a wedding officiant, and to be honest had no idea it was even a job! 

I quickly realized that many of my life’s lessons would converge quite organically into this new vocation. My lifelong love of love, background as a storyteller, deep curiosity for people’s stories, as well as reverence for ceremony, alchemized into this career which I love! It has shown me how many different types of love there are out there, and beautifully how many ways devotion and commitment can be expressed. I am dedicated to creating meaningful and memorable moments where your story gets to shine.

In terms of my acting career, most people know me from the Disney Channel film Johnny Tsunami, but also the sequel Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, Jungle Book: Mowgli’s Story, Even Stevens and more. While I happily don’t act anymore, my background has very much helped me and the couples I work with. I know how nervy things can feel being the center of attention, and so I aim to help my couples drop their shoulders and enjoy themselves knowing they are in experienced hands and have nothing to worry about.

Lastly, I’m so grateful for the love given back to me! It's immeasurably valuable for me to be around such beautiful relationships and acts of love all the time, which in turn buoys my personal relationships as well! It's a really cool symbiosis.
